Year7 Rep Report- Hayley (Manager)
Everyone commented on how much the girls had improved since last week’s games. We played amazingly well considering we haven’t had the chance to practice yet. We had 3 games, sadly coming second in all of them but that didn’t take the smiles off the girl’s faces with positive attitudes throughout the game. We also had lots of parent’s support that cheered throughout the day. Overall it was another fun day in the rain unfortunately that couldn’t quite hold off for the last of the games.

Netball North Harbour Yr8 Rep Report - 19/6
Year8 Rep Report- Dannielle
Up at the crack of dawn I hunt for my missing black underwear. As we packed the bus outside the library someone else was missing :D But after a short bus ride we arrived in perfect condition at the courts. We follow mother duck Lucille to our nesting place and set up camp. Our first game kicked off to a roaring start at 9.30 against Manurewa and we battled it out for 26 intense minutes. With our smiling faces we lost by a small margin. We knew what we were up against in the next game against Waitakere as we had played them before. With high spirits we battled it out but couldn’t come out on top. We were a bit gutted but when we heard we were playing Harbour we were boosted again. We had a great first half as we kept the score even but as the rain fell so did our ability to catch that slippery ball, so in the end we had a winless day but we weren’t too worried as we had improved from last week. We said bye to Catharine (Latu) and saved our spot on the drop off lane for our lovely driver. We had a feed at BK and yet again a fun bus ride home.

Year 7 Hibiscus Coast Rep Tournament
Year 7 Netball Rodney @ Hibiscus Coast Netball Centre
Another early sunday for the babys of rodney reps but as usual they were all full of energy and ready for a big day of netball.
The day was full of many pleasing suprises and very tough games.
First game of the day was against Nothern Wairoa, and it was a slow start for the girls. With a bit of waking up from the coach the girls went back out to claw back 7 goals. We ended going down 10-9.
Next up we had the champions of the day North Harbour . Although going down 21-4 the girls displayed some awesome netball skills and plays. A highlight for this game was when Little Alana Santos caused a turnover and ripped the ball out of the oppositions hand who was a good foot taller than her.
The last few games of the day was great experience for the girls as they had to stand their ground against the far north teams. Apart from a few bumps and bruises the girls did very well and have come such a long way together as a team.

Under 15's Rep. Report - Netball North Field Day - Whangarei
The U15's had a big day with four close games through out the day.. Although none of the games were won the score were very close. Each player is starting to show great improvements in their performance as each game is played, extending their knowledge of the game and growing confidence in themselves.

Under 17's Rep. Report - Netball North Field Day - Whangarei
The Rodney u/17 team played exceptionally well, with all players making huge progress throughout the day. Everyone worked really hard and we were rewarded with a 18-17 win over Northern Wairoa, unfortunately Northern Wairoa had beaten HBC which meant we ended up not having a playoff game.
We were in a very tuff pool with the North Origin team and North Harbour (as well as Northern Wairoa and HBC), the team may have lost by considerable margins in these games but really made the opposition work hard for every goal. Well done girls very proud of you all.
Of special note was Melissa McCabe captaining the North origin team and Elaina Moulds also playing for the North team and being rewarded for a great days play by receiving a Talent Identification Certificate and is a reserve for the NZTD programme.
Thanks
